Born in Queens (the real Queens, not a carved out enclave that Daddy created), raised in Queens and Carteret, NJ, I now live in my seventh state. It went like this NY > NJ > FL > GA > TX > VA > WV.
I worked in the corporate world from the time I was 23 until I was 46 and left a Fortune 25 company with bonuses, stock awards, and a great salary for the world of journalism. Started out at RedState when it was still sane. From there I got published in other outlets — National Review, The Daily Beast, NY Daily News, The Atlantic. That got me a gig working at a newspaper, The Dallas Morning News, as an editorial writer. After that, I went to a print magazine, Washington Examiner, and I am back to digital at Fox Business.

People
I am a writer and took a turn from journalism to communications. I live in WV with my wife Andrea, my stepdaughter Abby, and our four(!) pets. The girls (dogs), Ella and Evie, and the two other girls, our two tabby cats, Spark and Trout.
